Recipe & Shopping List

Step 1 – Prepare the Sausages

Preheat your oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4).
Lightly brown the sausages in a pan, then transfer to the oven and cook for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked through. Set aside.

Step 2 – Cook the Base

Heat oil or low-cal spray in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent.
Stir in crushed garlic and cook for another minute.

Step 3 – Build the Flavour

Add baked beans, butter beans, and chopped tomatoes to the pan.
Stir well and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Step 4 – Add the Spices

Sprinkle in your SpicesRUs Sausage & Bean Spice Blend.
Add balsamic vinegar and English mustard (if using).
Mix thoroughly and allow to simmer for 10–15 minutes until thickened and rich.

Step 5 – Combine & Finish

Slice the cooked sausages and return them to the pan.
Stir everything together and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Step 6 – Garnish & Serve

Sprinkle with freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley and serve hot.
